The Tempest BB-16 Standard Battery-Powered Fan is a compact positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan designed for smoke removal, confined-space ventilation, and targeted airflow during fireground and rescue operations. It combines battery-powered portability, shore power capability, and controlled airflow output for flexible deployment across multiple use scenarios.

Built for Targeted Ventilation

Battery-powered PPV fans are commonly used by fire departments for interior ventilation, overhaul, and confined-space airflow where portability and quick setup are critical. The BB-16 is designed for fast deployment and controlled air movement in residential structures, below-grade spaces, and restricted access points.

Controlled Airflow with NEO Technology

The BB-16 features NEO airflow technology, which produces an oval-shaped air pattern designed to improve sealing at doorways and entry points. This airflow pattern helps direct air more efficiently into structures during ventilation operations.

The fan uses 16" AirFlex fiberglass-reinforced polyamide blades to support consistent airflow performance.
